The King’s Road 2.-6.8.2008
The
King's Road is a historic road from Turku to Vyborg in Finland, dating back to
the 14th century. In the 18th century the King’s Road was part of an old mailing
route from Stockholm to St. Petersburg and that was the busiest time in the
history of the road.
On this road kings and armies travelled through southern Finland.
In 1997 the road was marked as a travel route, which follows the historic route
as closely as possible.

The blue line tells the route, by clicking the textboxes, you can see pictures from the trip.
